Live is where the instrument makes most sense to me.

Rhythm, breath, voice and improvisation are at the centre of how I play. There’s usually enough structure to hold a piece together, but enough room for it to change once I’m actually playing it.

I perform solo and with other musicians, particularly percussionists.
